Money Mentors

It can be tough to stay on track with your financial goals. Work with a financial coach and attend group sessions to make progress. The goal of Money Mentors is to support you in changing behaviors, reducing barriers, and creating positive, long-term financial habits.

How It Works

If you’re ready to learn more, fill out our interest form to answer some basic screening questions. From there you’ll receive an invite to attend a brief virtual orientation session to make sure the program is the right fit for you. Once in the program, participants meet with their coach and attend peer sessions once a month each, for at least 6 months and up to 24 months.

Whether you’re ready to get started or just want to learn more, the interest form is the first step!

One-On-One Sessions

Coaches and participants meet virtually or in-person to discuss individual goals and progress.

Peer Sessions

Participants meet together virtually to learn about financial topics, share best practices, and support each other.

Create A Plan

A coach is someone who will listen, hold you accountable, and cheer you on to the finish line. They will first listen to understand the whole financial picture, then help you get started and create a plan to get where you want to go.

Stick To It

Let’s face it, getting to your goal is a lot easier and a lot more fun when someone’s there with you, cheering you on and keeping you on track.

Make Change Happen

Reach your dreams. Boost your credit, eliminate debt, increase savings, increase your income, control spending, or whatever your goal may be.

  • Tell you what to do or how to do it
  • Presume to be an expert in your financial situation
  • Offer financial counseling or advice
  • Help with investments, bankruptcy, wills, or trusts
  • Negotiate with creditors about your debt
  • Can you name a financial goal you want to reach?
  • Are you willing to invest time and energy to reach your financial goal?
  • Are you willing to potentially make tough decisions to improve your financial situation?
  • Are you willing to communicate regularly with a financial coach?
  • Do you make less than $55,000 a year as an individual or $75,000 as a family?
